I take on freelance and contract work alongside my degree. These are the shapes of work I'm set up for — if yours is close to one of them but not quite, it's still worth asking.

How it usually goes: you describe the problem, I come back with what I think it actually needs and roughly what that costs in time. Small pieces I'll quote fixed; anything open-ended I'd rather bill by the week so neither of us is guessing.

I reply to email within a day, and I'll tell you if something isn't a good fit for me rather than take it on badly.
